Oliver Davies
Director
Oliver started his coaching career at age fifteen and quickly realised this was a passion that he wished to pursue. When Oliver finished school he landed an international coaching role along the West coast of California where he trained more than 300 young football enthusiasts from inclusive football camps to elite clubs.
Gaining invaluable knowledge abroad spurred him to create ‘Swerve Soccer’ in the South East of England which has now seen more than 5000 unique players in attendance across all programmes.
Oliver is now joint X1 manager for one of the leading independent school football team’s in the country, Bede’s Senior School along with spearheading LALIGA’s new sporting initiative ‘LALIGA Camps UK’.
James Fraser
James is a former professional player for Bristol Rovers. James has represented England School boys at youth level and is an extremely experienced youth football coach. James co-directs Swerve Soccer along with Oliver and operates the after school club programme.
James is also a level 3 gym instructor and continues to play non-league football to this day.
Dan Harding
Dan is a former England U21 and EFL Championship player who has represented professional clubs such as Southampton, Brighton & Hove Albion, Millwall, Ipswich Town and many more.
Dan joined the team in 2018 and brings a wealth of expertise and playing experience from the professional game. Through Dan’s extensive network, Swerve Soccer are in an advantageous position to offer higher playing opportunities through his connections within the football sector.
Andy Foulkes
Andy is Swerve Soccer’s specialised goalkeeper coach.
Andy has played in goal since the age of 6 and now in his 44th season of playing. Andy has represented Sussex at all age groups from U12 to the senior team and has recently enjoyed veterans football.
Andy started coaching his son’s football team in 2006 and soon took responsibility for goalkeepers across all age groups at the club. In 2008 he joined Chelsea FC football in the community and pre-academy as a goalkeeper coach with the responsibility of organising courses throughout Sussex.
Andy has two son's, his eldest progressed as professional goalkeeper signing for Derby County under Wayne Rooney and his youngest progressed into at AFC Wimbledon.
